Wow.

Sometimes you run into an article that just makes you step back and blink (I said blink, not think). Not in awe, but simply the sheer blatant size and duplicity of the status quo.

This article is published by a Dr. Michael Coulter, who works for the The Center for Vision & Values.

In this article, he espouses “No current members of the House of Representatives can run for president.”

To support the premise of this statement, he then focuses on a few select Congressmen like Dennis Kucinich, Duncan Hunter, and Tommy Tancredo.  He devotes 1 paragraph to each of the above named people outlining why none of them are qualified.

He then specifically attacks Ron Paul. He devotes 5 (yes – FIVE) paragraphs as to why Paul is not qualified! Could it be more blatant that this is an Anti-Ron Paul article, not an expose on why “Congressmen should not run for President”? If he wrote 1 paragraph on Ron Paul, I would not have written this article you are currently reading.

Me thinks the good Dr. Coulter is a tool. A tool of the propaganda machine.

Uh. If all men are created equal (a bit of bone-picking with that statement … they’re not, as everyone has varying levels of gifts and handicaps, and born into conditions where they may not be able to exercise those talents – this statement should read “all men/women are to be treated as equals in the eyes of the law”), and have the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, AND have the rights of Individual Freedom, is that NOT what Ron Paul is all about? More so than ANY candidate?

Anyone who is a United States citizen should have the right to run for President….and any United States citizen empowered with the right to vote should decide if that person should win.
